Wolfe, Michael J.
By Canton CitizenMichael J. Wolfe, 40, of Canton, passed away February 15 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Norwood, he was a lifelong resident of Canton and graduated from Canton High School in 1990 where he was the assistant sports trainer for the football team. Michael was an avid sports fan and was a longtime season ticket holder for the Patriots and also enjoyed watching the Bruins and the Red Sox.
He loved spending time with his family, vacationing in Maine during the summer, and in 2009 he enjoyed a family vacation in Hawaii. He previously worked for J. Baker Co. in Canton.
Beloved son of Joan B. (Booth) and James W. Wolfe of Canton. Brother of Susan Marcone and her husband, John, of Canton, and the late James W. Jr. Uncle of Nicole, JC and Matthew Marcone. Nephew of Mary Wolfe of Canton and Rosemarie Gay of East Bridgewater. Also survived by his three loving cousins, Jeanette, Lynn and Cindy, and his godparents, Bob and Ann Citrano of Canton.
A funeral mass was held Monday morning, February 20, in St. John the Evangelist Church. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. Donations may be made in his memory to the Canton High School Athletic Booster Club, 900 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
