Charles Edward Hagan, 84, of Borrego Springs, CA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 2.

haganBorn in Norwood, he grew up in Canton, graduating from Canton High in 1946 and Boston College in 1951. He was chief engineer at Microsonics in Weymouth for many years before moving to California in 1978 to work with TRW. He was a longtime member of the Canton Town Club, Wampatuck Country Club, and St. John the Evangelist and St. Gerard Majella parishes.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Clare A. (Gillis); children Elaine Hagan, Jill Serrano, and Jim (Daphne) Hagan of CA, Chuck (Cherie Lynn) Hagan of CO, and Kathleen (Greg) Walls of Germany; and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Katherine (Leary) and James Hagan, and three brothers, Richard (Dick), William (Bill), and David.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 11, at St. Richard’s Parish, Borrego Springs, CA. Burial will be held at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego.
