Canton Fire Department celebrates Firemen’s Sunday

The annual Firemen’s Sunday was celebrated this year on June 13. Members of the Canton Fire Department — both present and retired — attended mass at Saint James Church on York Street. After the mass, Reverend Tom Dornan of St. James Lutheran Church came to the Ponkapoag station for a brief prayer srrvice, after which the flag was lowered and raised to remember all members of the department who have passed away.
