Pierce, Albert J.

Albert J. Pierce, 90, formerly of Hyde Park, passed away February 14 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born and raised in Boston, he attended Boston schools and graduated from Boston University in 1949.

He was an Army veteran of WWII and worked as a mail carrier for the Post Office in Hyde Park and Jamaica Plain. He lived in Hyde Park for many years and previously lived in Canton.

He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends invited to attend a graveside service at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton on Friday morning at 10. Visiting hours omitted. For guestbook see www.dockrayandthomasfuneralhome.com.
