Michaud, Valentina

Valentina Michaud (Efedjan), 49, of Canton, passed away July 17 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital.

Born in Russia, she graduated from Tufts University and received her MBA from Simmons College in Boston. She worked as an executive in the financial services industry. She was an active member of the Edgewood Church of Christ in Mansfield and a member of the Simmons College Alumni Association.

Beloved wife of Dr. Unique Michaud of Canton. Mother of James and Jerrin Michaud, both of Canton. Daughter of Ruslana Efedjan of Brookline and the late Jacob Efedjan. Stepmother of Emie Michaud Weinstock and her husband, Daniel, of Cambridge. Grandmother of Rafi and Ezra Michaud Weinstock.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the United Church of Christ, 1541 Washington Street in Canton, Saturday, July 23, at 11 a.m. Visiting hour at the church prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. Burial private.

Donations may be made in her memory to the Edgewood Church of Christ, 26 Denwood St., Mansfield, MA 02048. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
