Local agents honored at Conway awards ceremony

The selling superstars of Conway Country were honored recently as Jack Conway, Realtor feted its top agents at the company’s annual mid-year awards breakfast held at the Plymouth Radisson Hotel. The event recognized top listers and sellers from 42 offices for the first six months of 2011.

The local mid-year award winner for Jack Conway’s Canton office was the selling team of Theresa Godin and Ellen Euse.

The guest speaker at the award ceremony was Kim Castiglioni, VP and strategic alliance manager for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. She shared her thoughts on the Massachusetts marketplace and offered tips for increasing realtors’ business in the year ahead.

“The opportunities are out there for people to buy a home right now,” Castiglioni said. “We have mortgage interest rates at 40-year lows, and, contrary to what some buyers may believe, credit is available. Spread the word — the time to buy is now.”

Also honored at the mid-year awards breakfast were three local graduates of Conway’s Superstar Training program — a year-long peer education course in which the company’s top listers and sellers share their secrets to success with their Conway colleagues.

Among the 25 recipients of the Conway Degree of Excellence (CDE) were Canton realtors Chris Devlin, Fred Posner and Peter Rizzi.

“I congratulate you all for valuing the importance of education for yourselves and your customers,” Conway CEO Carol Bulman told the graduates. “We created this CDE credential to recognize those agents who make a commitment to excellence and follow through on that commitment by attending courses designed to help them better serve their buyers and sellers every day.”
