Canton Soccer School visit

By

On August 3, New England Revolution center back AJ Soares paid a visit to Canton Soccer School, where he spoke to the campers about the importance of hard work in achieving their goals.

Soares, who was the sixth overall pick in the 2011 MLS SuperDraft, was a standout player at the University of California Berkeley. In 2010, in his final season at Cal, Soares was named an NSCAA First Team All American, Pac-10 Player of the Year, Goal.com Player of the Year, and was a semifinalist for the Hermann trophy, awarded annually to the nation’s top male and female college soccer players.
