English, James F.
By Canton CitizenJames F. English, of Canton, died September 23, 2011, at Caritas Norwood Hospital.
He was a retired truck driver for Teamsters Local #379. He worked for Industrial Stainless Steel and Patent Scaffolding. He was the co-founder of the Sons of Italy in Canton and a member of the Canton Town Club and the Retired Men’s Club in Canton. He enjoyed fishing, being with his grandchildren, and spending time in the shed.
Beloved husband of 49 years to Rose D. (Forcina) English. Loving father of Roseann Boucher and her husband, Ron, of Virginia Beach; Susan McCormack and her husband, Dan, of Mansfield; and Karen Eldridge and her husband, George, of Plainville. Dear brother of Eleanor Johnson of Braintree and the late George and Mary English. Cherished grandfather of Lynne, Beth, Lauren, Daniel, James, Nicole, Jackie and Ryan. Dear brother-in-law of Anita Coffin of Lexington and Raymond Forcina of Stoneham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, September 27, at the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, followed by a mass of Christian burial in St. John’s Church. Interment with honors at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the St. John School Foundation, PO Box 604, Canton, MA 02021.
