Beloved husband of the late Mary T. (Kearns). Father of Mary Anderson and her husband, Raymond, of Dedham, Margaret Foley and her husband, Richard, of Braintree, Carole Condon and her husband, Patrick, of Weymouth, and Eileen Rielly and her husband, Donald, of East Sandwich. Brother of Mary Burns of Mashpee. Also survived by eight grandchildren.
Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Thursday, October 13, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Pius X Church in Milton Friday morning at 11. Interment Old Calvary.
Mr. McGonagle was a retired manager and treasurer of the Boston Firefighters Credit Union and a retired member of the Boston Fire Department. Donations may be made in his memory to the Boston Firefighters Relief Fund, Attn. George Patukonis, 115 S. Hampton St., Boston, MA 02118.
