Scott M. Herr Golf Tournament

On Thursday, September 22, more than 160 golfers and volunteers turned out for the second annual Scott M. Herr Memorial Golf Tournament, held at Brookmeadow Country Club in Canton. Proceeds from the tournament support the college scholarship fund founded in Herr’s name. In two years, 20 Scott Herr scholarships have been awarded to deserving Canton High School seniors.
The Herr family would like to thank everyone who helped make this year’s event a success, including local businesses that donated raffle prizes and Rodman Ford, which donated a hole-in-one car contest. Plans are already underway for next year’s event, which will again be held in September.
