Elizabeth “Liz” (Brown) Casey, 96, passed away peacefully at her home in Canton on November 8.

Born and raised in Brookline and Brighton, she attended Brookline schools. Elizabeth and her husband, Fred, moved to Canton in 1951 and together they raised their five children. She worked at the Hellenic Nursing home as a dietician for many years.

Elizabeth owned and drove race cars in the Powder Puff Derby at the Norwood Arena. She loved riding her Harley. She also enjoyed nature and animals, especially raccoons. She will be deeply missed by all.

Beloved wife of the late Fred Healey. Loving mother of Russell M. Healey of Attleboro, Bob A. Healey of Stoughton, Sharon Zepf of Middleboro, and the late Ronald Lewis Healey and Richard D. Healey, Sr. Sister of Lucios Brown of Dover. Also survived by her nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and her former husband, Donald Casey.

Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Saturday, November 12, from 4-8 p.m. Interment private.
