Duganiero, Ursula E.
By Canton CitizenUrsula E. (Danahy) Duganiero, 78, of Canton, passed away after a brief illness at Norwood Hospital on November 8. Born and raised in Canton, she attended St. John’s School and graduated from Canton High School.
Ursula worked at New England Telephone Company for many years. She was a dental assistant for Dr. Staples in Canton for over 20 years, a member of the St. John’s choir for over 40 years, and a member of the Canton Choral Society and the Neponset Valley Choral Society.
Mrs. Duganiero also volunteered at the Canton library. She loved music, playing the piano and spending time with her granddaughters.
Beloved wife of 45 years of Dominic M. Duganiero. Loving mother of Maria Connor and her husband, Joseph, of Mansfield, and Joanne Duganiero of Uxbridge. Adored grandmother of Molly, Kathleen and Amy Connors of Mansfield. Sister of Blanche Nervi of Canton and the late Joseph P. Jr., Alan, and Paul A. Danahy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours in the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Thursday, November 10, from 4-8 p.m. Friends and relatives respectfully invited to attend. Funeral mass Friday morning at 10:30 in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
