Shaughnessy, Paul F.
By Canton CitizenPaul F. Shaughnessy Sr., 58, of Canton, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family November 16.
Born and raised in Brockton, he graduated from Xaverian Brothers High School and Holy Cross College. He was the owner and operator of Progress Pallet in Middleboro for many years.
Beloved husband of Patricia A. (Hewitt). Father of Paul F. Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Hanson, and Mike Shaughnessy of Canton. Brother of Virginia Sullivan of Hingham, Richard Shaughnessy and Carole O’Connell, both of Duxbury. Grandfather of Kayden and Ashlyn Shaughnessy of Hanson.
A funeral mass was held Monday morning, November 21, in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Burial private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Pl., 6th floor, Brookline, MA 02445. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
