Ryan, Eleanor M.
By Canton CitizenEleanor M. Ryan (Morehouse), 97, formerly of West Roxbury, Franklin and Hyannis, passed away November 30 at the Hancock Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Quincy after a long illness.
Born and raised in Boston, she graduated from Hyde Park High School. She worked as a teller for South Shore Savings Bank in Millis and Franklin for many years. She was a former member of Holy Name Parish in West Roxbury, where she was a member of the Bernadine Women’s Club. She lived in Franklin from 1965-1983 and in Hyannis from 1983-2001.
Beloved wife of the late Lawrence W. Mother of Lawrence C. and his wife, Joyce, of Canton; Mark K. and his wife, Mariana, of Hyannis; and the late Kenan Ryan. Grandmother of Brendan M. and his wife, Laura, of Raynham; Keith C. and his wife, Tracy, of Canton; and Leanne T. Scarola and her husband, Michael, of Stoughton. Sister of the late Dorothy Rogers. Aunt of Jane Mobley, William Rogers and Paula Brown, all of NC, and William Ryan of Walpole.
A funeral mass was held Tuesday morning, December 6, in Holy Name Church, West Roxbury. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
