CHS boosters announce new fundraising program

The Canton High School Athletic Booster Club is pleased to share some exciting news about its latest fundraising program. It’s called “scrip,” and it’s the fundraising program that works while you shop.

Scrip is simply a word that means “substitute money.” The Scrip program enables CHS Booster Club families and friends to purchase pre-paid gift cards to a wide range of retailers. Many popular retailers participate in our scrip program, including American Eagle, The Gap, Shell, 99 Restaurant, Stop and Shop, Pottery Barn, Marshalls, and many, many more.

A percentage of every dollar spent is paid back to the club — at no cost to you.

All you have to do is purchase gift cards through the CHS Booster Club, and the club receives a percentage of the sale. The gift cards you receive are the same as those you would purchase directly from the store, meaning you can give them as gifts or use them yourself.

They can also be used for stores that you regularly visit, including weekly shopping at Shaw’s, Target, Walmart, and other major retailers.

Why not purchase cards for yourself if you are going there anyway, and everyone wins?

These cards have a quick turn-around time, so you can visit the site frequently. Cards will be delivered right to you in Canton.

Best of all, this program lets you shop in one place without running all over town!

Simply place your order using the Scrip order form available at cantonma.org/chs/athletics/boosters/scrip.htm, or order online at www.shopwithscrip.com.

Your cards will be delivered to you within a week of the order deadline.

For holiday shoppers: Order by December 17 for delivery date on December 24.

The Scrip coordinator will confirm your order and you will receive your gift cards on the designated date.
