The Canton Choral Society presented its Annual Holiday Concert on December 11 in Canton High School’s Morse Auditorium. The popular event featured selections from Handel’s Messiah, winter holiday music, and sing-a-longs.
CCS performers included: Crosby Goshgarian, Jr., founder/managing director; Anne Tripp Miller, music director; Kathleen McSherry, chorus manager; sopranos: Carolyn Fortin, Lindsey Galvao, Ingrid Hartfiel, Sharon King, Christine Musial, Nancy Sands, Jana Truz; altos: Donna Anderson, Marla Schay Barker, Eva Cassamento, Christine Cannon, Elizabeth Emhardt, Lucinda Lloyd, Sarah Pipegrass; tenors: William Ball, Robert Barker, Kenneth Hartfiel, John Russell; bass: Brewster Gifford, Dean Miller; Messiah soloists: Lindsey Galvao, Maggie Furtak, John M. Sullivan, Ronald Williams; Musicians: Susan Osberg, Brian Clague, Bethany Estano, Dani Rimoni, Michael Dahlberg, Wayne King, and Grace Mary Burega. This year’s concert was dedicated to the memory of Ursula Duganiero, one of CCS’s founding members.
