Robert A. Teague, of Canton, passed away January 7 at Caritas Norwood Hospital. Born in Boston, he was raised in Canton, graduated from Canton High School and was a lifelong resident of Canton.

He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era. He worked as a postal clerk at the Canton Post Office for 32 years before retiring. He was a member of the American Legion Post #24 in Canton, DAV in Randolph, the DAV Commanders Club, and a life member of the Massapoag Sportsmen’s Club.

Beloved husband of Linda L. (Hines). Father of Hayley Teague of Canton. Grandfather of Jacob Teague. Brother of Andrew Teague of Canton and Margaret H. Publicover of Hanson.

A funeral mass was held Wednesday morning, January 11, in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the National Parkinson Foundation Gift Processing Center, PO Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018, or the DAV, 490 High St., Randolph, MA 02368.
