Russo, Pasquale J.

Pasquale J. Russo, 90, of Barnstable, formerly of Canton, passed away January 15 at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton.

Born and raised in Boston, he attended Boston schools and Harvard University. He was the owner of Russo Greenhouses in Randolph and Roslindale for many years. He was a former member of the Mass Rose Growers Association and the Knights of Columbus Council #2095 in Canton.

Beloved husband of the late Margaret E. (MacCormack). Father of Louise Doe and her husband, Robert, of Canton; Pasquale J. Russo and his wife, Elaine, of Raynham; and Anthony P. Russo and his wife, Jane, of Saco, ME. Brother of S. George Russo of Roslindale and Marie Canale and her husband, Sonny, of Milton.

Grandfather of Margaret C. Flanagan of London, Cara Brooks and her husband, Donnie, of South Boston, Pasquale J. Russo of Randolph, Katrina L. Gaeta of Plymouth, and Patrick J. Russo of ME. Great-grandfather of Griffin Cooper Brooks.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday, January 19, at 10 a.m. in St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton. Burial St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Centerville. Donations may be made in his memory to the Hellenic Nursing Home, 601 Sherman St., Canton, MA 02021.
