Ruvich, David

Dr. David Ruvich, 60, of Canton, passed away suddenly January 18 at home.

Born in Boston, he was raised in Mattapan and Sharon and graduated from Sharon High School. He attended UMass Boston and Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

Dr. Ruvich has lived in Canton for the last 26 years and was a chiropractor at Stoughton Family Chiropractic for many years. He enjoyed fishing, target shooting, playing chess and cards, telling jokes, and riding his motorcycle.

Beloved husband of Lorraine (Shay). Father of Annika Ruvich of CT, Rachel Ruvich of Marlboro, Lacey Ruvich of Canton, and Caleb Ruvich of Worcester. Brother of Deana Ruvich of Sharon.

A prayer service in memory of David was held Friday, January 20. Burial private. Donations may be made in his memory to Parkinson’s Association, 72 E. Concord St., Boston, MA 02118, or to the Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Pl., Boston, MA 02215, or the Buddy Dog Humane Society, 151 Boston Post Rd., Sudbury, MA 01776.
