Hockey Town USA
By Canton CitizenIt is now the midway point of the high school hockey season, and both Canton High School teams have risen to their rightful place near the top of the league standings. Despite a disappointing 4-4 tie against budding rival Oliver Ames, the boys’ team currently leads the Davenport Division with a 6-0-1 record (9-1-1 overall) and controls its own destiny with three league games remaining.
Meanwhile, the surging Lady Bulldogs are riding a four-game winning streak and currently sit in second place (5-1, 7-4 overall) in the SEMGHL West Division with plenty of time to overtake Franklin and Westwood for the title.
Check out the Canton Citizen each week for continued coverage of CHS hockey and the rest of the school’s winter sports teams. Go Bulldogs!
