Allen, Monica

Monica (Schneider) Allen, 36, a resident of Dorchester (formerly of Canton), passed away unexpectedly January 21, 2012, in her home.

Monica was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High School before receiving her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Monica is survived by her husband, Craig Allen, her stepdaughter Jenna, her parents, Klaus and Renate Schneider, of Henderson, Nevada, her brother, Oliver Schneider and family of Switzerland, as well as serveral aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.

A memorial service will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, 214 York Street in Canton, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 25. All who knew Monica are invited.
