Girls’ basketball team falls in tourney opener

Olivia Murphy and the 15th seeded CHS girls’ basketball team kept it close for three quarters, but struggled down the stretch in a 50-31 loss to No. 2 Fairhaven in the opening round of the Division 3 south sectional tournament. Despite the early playoff exit, the Bulldogs had a solid season overall, finishing 9-12 against a very competitive schedule.
