Morrison, Duncan A.

Duncan A. Morrison, 77, of Stoughton, passed away April 17 at New England Sinai Hospital.

Born and raised in Canton, he graduated from Canton High School and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a truck driver for Stop & Shop and Westwood Cartage for 25 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #25 in Boston and the New England Paralyzed Veterans Association.

Beloved husband of Barbara L. (Shugrue). Father of Cheryl A. Rintala of Norton, formerly of Sharon, Susan Weiner of Norton, and Ellen M. Morrison of Norton, formerly of Sharon. Brother of the late Nancy Alger. Brother-in-law of Nancy Parsons of Canton. Uncle of James Tyrell of Canton. Also survived by eight grandchildren.

Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral service at the funeral home Friday morning at 11 a.m. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to the Easter Seals of MA, 256 Union St., New Bedford, MA 02740.
