Moynihan, Frances R.

Frances R. Moynihan, 63, of Canton and Falmouth, passed away May 22 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Boston, she was raised in Mattapan and graduated from St. Gregory’s High School. She worked for Boston Gas as an engineer for many years before retiring in 2009. She has lived in Canton for almost 40 years.

Beloved sister of Kathleen M. Harland of Franklin, Edward J. and Karen G. Moynihan, both of Canton. Aunt of Kelly McKenna of Walpole, Kristen Spillane, Brian F. and Katie M. Harland, all of Franklin.

Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Thursday, May 24, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church Friday morning at 10:30. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
