Murray, Rev. Thomas F.
By Canton CitizenRev. Thomas F. Murray, senior priest, of Mashpee, passed away May 26 at the Marion Manor in South Boston.
Born and raised in Boston, he attended Boston College High School, Boston College School, and was ordained at St. Joseph’s Seminary on February 2, 1957. Father Murray served as parochial vicar at St. Ann in Peabody, Corpus Christi in Auburndale, Saint Pius the Fifth in Lynn, Most Precious Blood in Hyde Park, and as pastor of Sacred Heart in South Natick. Most recently he was a parochial vicar serving the Cape Cod area.
Brother of Sister Frances Murray C.S.J. of Framingham and the late Sister Aileen Murray C.S.J., Rev. Monsignor Robert Murray, and Grace Sexton.
