Helen E. Sumner (Yeomans), 87, passed away at Norwood Hospital on July 3, 2012.

Born and raised in Canton, Helen graduated from Canton High School. After devoting her time to raising her four children, Mrs. Sumner worked as a secretary at the family-owned business Sumner & Dunbar in Canton. She enjoyed gardening, loved going out to eat and spending time with her lifelong friends, Eleanor Murphy and Ethel Milligan.

Beloved wife of the late Larra T. Loving mother of Larra T. III and his wife, Jeannie, of Duxbury; Susan L. of Canton; Debby DiBiasio and her husband, Dennis, of Canton; and the late James T. Also survived by her sister, Lillian Turchiano and her husband, Joseph, of FL; her brother, Arthur “Sonny” Yeomans of FL; her eight grandchildren, her great-granddaughter, and her lifelong friends, Eleanor and Ethel.

Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service at the United Church of Christ in Canton on Friday, July 6, at 11 a.m. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park.
