Brady, Mary C.
By Canton CitizenMary C. Brady, 78, of Sharon, formerly of Canton, passed away July 20 at Brockton Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Norwood, she was raised in Canton and attended Archbishop Cushing High School in South Boston. She worked as a clerk for Liberty Mutual Insurance for many years before retiring. She has lived in Sharon for over 50 years where she was a member of the Our Lady of Sorrows Women’s Club and was formerly a member of the Daughters of Isabella in Canton.
Beloved sister of Helen T. Drake of Sharon and the late Marguerite Brady. Aunt of Tom Drake and his wife, Julie, of Bourne, John Drake of Sharon, and the late Sherman Drake Jr. Great aunt of Jennifer Drake of Taunton and Allison Drake of New Bedford. Cousin of Louise Widberg of Canton and Helen Rose of Kingston.
A funeral mass was held Wednesday, July 25, in Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Sharon. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
