Local family thanks Canton Veterinarian Hospital

By

Dear Editor:

On Monday, August 6, we said our goodbyes to “Chester,” our beloved 12-year-old yellow lab. Chester suffered from deteriorating arthritis, was in constant pain and had started having “collapses,” despite strong pain medication and all the love we had.

Our family is writing now to express our deepest gratitude to the Canton Veterinarian Hospital for all their help over the past few weeks. Throughout multiple visits and phone consultations, we were continually greeted with professionalism and emotional support while we came to grips with a situation that had snuck up on us.

Most especially, we will be forever grateful to Dr. Kristen Scott, DMV, and Ms. Alyssa Hinds, Vet Tech, who came to our house for the final house call. They were incredible, managing the delicate balance of being fully caring and emotionally present, yet tactfully giving our family space and privacy when we needed it.

Dr. Scott and Ms. Hinds enabled Chester to leave this world as the dignified, majestic Being that he was. Our family says thank you.

Sincerely,

The Hrubec family
