Bank of Canton announces donation to Pop Warner
By Canton CitizenBank of Canton will donate funds through its “Change that Makes Sense” program to Canton Pop Warner Football during the month of September.
Bank of Canton has a coin counting machine at the 557 Washington Street branch in downtown Canton. The coin counting service is free for Bank of Canton customers, and non-customers are subject to a 6 percent fee of all coins counted. Periodically, the bank chooses a local organization to receive the proceeds from the fee that is collected, and Canton Pop Warner Football was selected.
“Bank of Canton is always looking for ways to support the communities that we serve, and the ‘Change that Makes Sense’ program is just one more way of accomplishing that,” said Stephen Costello, president and CEO. “We’re pleased to support Canton Pop Warner Football and other local organizations that impact the lives of our local families, and hope many more people will utilize the coin counter and help us give back to the community.”
Founded in 1835, Bank of Canton supports a wide range of nonprofit organizations throughout the Canton area.
