The redesigned bridge on York Street decorated with flags

The York Street Neighborhood Association wants to thank Mike Trotta, Danny Teague, Bill Walsh, and the rest of the DPW staff for the fabulous job they did in the York Street area recently.

They removed debris and cut dead trees along the roadway, redesigned the bridge, painted “SLOW” on the roadways, added reflective strips on poles, and repainted the street lines — all before school was back in session.

A reminder to drivers on York Street and Indian Lane: Please stick to the speed limit to help make the roadways safe for all travelers.
