Floyd A. Teague, 75, a lifelong resident of Canton, passed away September 28 at the Golden Living Center in Norwood.

Born and raised in Canton, he was the son of the late Floyd and Louise Teague. He graduated from Canton High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was the former owner of Bolivar Tire in Canton and was a supporter of the American Legion Post #24 in Canton and a member of the Norwood Senior Bowling League.

He will be missed by his loving companion of many years, Joanne Dolan, of Norwood. Beloved father of Teresa Kincade and her husband, Robert, of Canton, Floyd Teague III of Raynham, Cheryl Davey and her husband, Paul, of Plymouth, Donna Guertin and her husband, Lee, of Sutton, and Matthew Teague and his wife, Paula, of AZ. Brother of Anne Doody of Canton, Elaine Ares of Foxboro, and Joseph Teague and his wife, Florence, of SC. Grandfather of Hillary, Wayne, Kristina, Sean, Merideth, Katlyn, Devin, Riley, Peter and Nathan. Also survived by his former wife, June (O’Brien) Teague, of NY.

A funeral service was held Tuesday morning, October 2, at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Canton Veterans Service Department, 801 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021.
