LaBombard, Dorothy M.
By Canton CitizenDorothy M. LaBombard, formerly of Canton, of Pocasset, passed away October 26 in Haverhill.
Born and raised in Canton, she graduated from Canton High School and lived her entire life in Canton before recently moving to Pocasset. She worked as a broker for Westwood Insurance for many years and also was an independent broker for Eastern Insurance Company before retiring.
Beloved sister of the late Eleanor and Louis LaBombard and Margaret Halloran. Aunt of Jean M. Schmiedel and Mary Ann Cummings, both of North Andover, and John Halloran of CT. Sister-in-law of John J. Halloran of North Andover. Also survived by two grandnieces, Emily Cummings and Colleen Schmiedel.
A funeral mass will be held Friday, November 2, at noon in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Friday morning prior to the mass from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. Donations may be made in her memory to the Bourne Fire & Rescue, Attn. Marie, 130 Main St., Buzzards Bay, MA 02532-3221.
