CCT to perform ‘The Night Before Christmas’
By Canton CitizenThe Canton Community Theatre is proud to open the holiday season with the production of The Night Before Christmas, a play produced by Dramatic Publishing and based on the classic poem by Clement Clark Moore.
The Canton Community Theatre has put on holiday shows in past years, including the classic production A Christmas Carol at Canton High School. This year the CCT is happy to bring back another holiday classic that people grew up with and can now relive through their own children and grandchildren.
The performance highlights six talented individuals who take Moore’s poem and bring it to life on stage for the audience to enjoy — especially the children who eagerly start counting down toward that magic day of December 25.
The shows are scheduled to be performed on December 1 at 11 a.m. and December 2 at 3 p.m. at the United Church of Christ, 1541 Washington Street in Canton. Admission is $7.50 for adults and $5 for children (up to high school seniors). Children under 5 are free.
Come experience the beginning of the Christmas season with your children and enjoy the magic of this production — with a special appearance from a Jolly Old Man from the North Pole.

The cast has also been invited to perform a private show in Stoughton at New England Sinai Hospital. It is a show that is very important to the CCT in giving to the community.
