Conlon, Sarah

Sarah Conlon (Doherty), 80, passed away January 8 at Norwood Hospital.

Born and raised in Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Catherine (Gill) and Manus Doherty. She attended St. Mungo High School in Scotland and has lived in Canton since 1965. She previously worked as a hairdresser at R.H. Stearns Department Store in Boston. She was an active parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton and attended the weekly Saturday 4 p.m. mass.

Beloved wife of Ronald J. Mother of Anne Marie Creedon and her husband, Michael, of Holbrook, Ronald J. Jr. and his wife, Lori, of NJ, and Sara Donovan and her husband, James, of Norton. Grandmother of Michael Creedon and Jacquelyn and Teddy Conlon. She was predeceased by two brothers and four sisters.

A funeral mass was held Saturday morning, January 12, in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in her memory to St. John the Evangelist Church, 700 Washington St., Canton, MA 02021. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
