Reynolds, William C.
By Canton CitizenWilliam C. Reynolds, 69, of Sharon, passed away suddenly January 14 at Norwood Hospital.
Born and raised in Boston, he graduated from Dorchester High School and Newbury College. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. He worked for Boston Gas for over 41 years, retiring from KeySpan in 2008. He was the past president of the Boston Gas Workers’ Union 12003 USW and chairman and longtime board member of the Energy Credit Union.
He was an avid golfer and a member of the Ponkapoag Golf Club, and he played in the Monday night Gas Company League at Strawberry Valley Golf Club. He enjoyed reading and was a member of the USA Swim and Health Club at the Dedham Hilton.
Beloved husband of the late Virginia L. (Berinski). Brother of Kathleen Botti and her husband, Michael, of Canton, and the late Virginia T. Sullivan, Nancy Saturn, John T. and Mary C. Reynolds. Brother-in-law of Brian Sullivan of Canton, Bob Saturn of Saugerties, NY, Doris Reynolds of Wakefield, and Joe Berinski of Stoughton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Friday, January 18, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral mass in St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 59 Cottage St., Sharon, MA 02067.
