By Canton CitizenMildred M. Bernazzani (Olsen), 93, formerly of Canton, of Whitman, passed away January 28 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.
Born and raised in Canton, she was a lifelong resident of the town. She graduated from Canton High School and worked as a nurse’s aide at the Mass. Hospital School. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Canton.
Beloved wife of the late Andrew A. Mother of Andrew A. of Whitman, Peter R. and his wife, Dolores, of Whitman, and Regina M. Cronis and her husband, Douglas, of Weymouth. Grandmother of Michael and Lauren Bernazzani and Emily Cronis. Sister of the late Barbara Fisher, Beverly Butler, and Harold Olsen. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Thursday, January 31, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral mass in St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton Friday at 10:30 a.m. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. Donations may be made in her memory to Children’s Hospital Boston Blood Donor Center, 300 Longwood Ave., Boston, MA 02115.
