McDermott, Elizabeth A.

Elizabeth A. McDermott, 67, of Readville, passed away January 26 at the High Gate Manor in Dedham.

Born and raised in Boston, she has lived in Readville for over 30 years. She had previously worked for several years as a bookkeeper.

Loving daughter of the late Thomas and Evelyn McDermott. Beloved sister of John McDermott and his wife, Maureen, of Naples, Evelyn Bourne of Brockton, and the late Marie T. Gillespie and Thomas L. McDermott Jr. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 30, and burial was in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations may be made in her memory to the Norwood Animal Shelter, 566 Washington St., Norwood, MA 02062.
