Congratulations to the following Canton High School students who received awards in the annual Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards competition: Dan Sheehy, Gold Key portfolio award (photography); Dan Guan, Gold Key award (photography); Madeline McMahon, Gold Key award (fashion design); and Ethan Childs, Silver Key award (design). In addition, the following students were recognized with an honorable mention: Tiana Chu (drawing), Shaylyn Connolly (digital art), Amberly Diep (ceramics), Christian Hobbs (architecture), Jack Khoury (drawing), Hailey Lee (painting), Madeline McMahon (painting), Nicole Nachef (photography), and Rachel Regan (photography).

The Gold Key and Silver Key Art Exhibit at the State Transportation Building will be on display until Friday, April 19. The hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12-4 p.m. The award winners will be honored on Sunday, March 3, in Boston. In addition, Gold and Silver Key recipients will move on to the national competition.
