Ross, Catherine J.

Catherine J. Ross (Hafferty), 90, a resident of Canton, for over 50 years, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013, following a long illness.

Catherine was a former telephone operator and homemaker. She was a devoted parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton for many years.

Devoted wife of the late George H. Ross. Loving mother of Kathleen E. Sheehan and her husband, Thomas, of Norwell, Michael W. Ross of Bellingham, and Timothy M. Ross and his wife, Terri, of Stoughton. Loving sister of the late William and Rita Hafferty. Proud grandmother of Jonathon and Matthew Sheehan.

Visiting hours Thursday, February 28, from 4-7 p.m. in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, March 1, at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park.
