Felcon, Francis X.

Francis X. Felcon, 61, of Canton, passed away suddenly at home March 10.

Born in San Angelo, Texas, he was raised and educated in Willingboro, New Jersey, and graduated from Rutgers University. He has lived in Canton since 1985 and was a senior investment officer with John Hancock for many years before he retired in 2003. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed playing basketball at the JCC in Stoughton.

Beloved husband of Kathy K. (Knowlton). Father of Matthew K. and Rebecca K., both of Canton. Brother of Colleen Bingham and Thomas Felcon, both of FL, Michael, Terence, Anthony and Robert Felcon, all of NJ, and the late Joseph Felcon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the United Church of Christ, 1541 Washington Street, on Saturday, March 16, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours omitted, burial private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Paul R. Matthews Foundation, PO Box 501, Canton, MA (prmfoundation.com) or the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
