Kyle Darrow of Canton, a senior at Xaverian Brothers High School, recently completed his indoor track season with a highly successful month.

Over five consecutive weekends Darrow won the long jump in the Tri-County League Championships and the Division 1 State Championships, placed second in the All-State Championships and the New England Indoor Track and Field Championships, and then capped his winter season with an eighth-place finish in the New Balance National Indoor Track and Field Championships at the New York Armory in New York City.

He also placed fourth in the Division 1 55-meter dash with a time of 6.53 seconds. Darrow, who has competed in track and field since his sophomore year, will attend college in the fall at one of three local colleges and plans on continuing his long jumping career.
