Grant, William F.

William F. Grant Jr., 89, of Sharon, formerly of Canton, died April 9, 2013.

William was born in Norwood and grew up in Canton. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was the owner of Johnson Cleaners in Canton for over 25 years. He later worked as a custodian for the Canton Public Schools until retirement.

Devoted husband of Mary H. Grant (Johnson). Loving father of William F. Grant III and his wife, Catherine, of Canton and Plymouth, NH. William is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, April 11, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, followed by a mass of Christian burial in Our Lady of Sorrows Parish Church, 59 Cottage St., Sharon. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Keeping You, Me, and Memories Alive at memoriesalive.org.
