Problem Solvers seeking support to attend international competition

By

Eight students from Canton have advanced in the Future Problem Solving (FPS) Program to the international competition, which takes place June 6-9 at Indiana University in Bloomington.

The cost to attend this prestigious event is a little more than $1,000 per person. To raise money, the Canton FPS program is holding various fundraisers around Canton. Please support the cause!

Internationals is a great opportunity for kids to meet other students from all around the world — Australia, Great Britain, New Zealand, South Korea, and Japan, to name a few. FPS is a program that encourages students to think creatively about issues. The International Competition is certainly a wonderful chance for students to engage in creative activities that allow them to think at a whole new level!

Please keep an eye out for the following events:

* Plant Sale and Car Wash at Canton High School on May 11

* Bake Sale at Town Meeting starting May 15

If you would like to make a donation to the FPS program, please send it to Susan Crespi, c/o John F. Kennedy School, 100 Dedham Street, Canton, MA. Please make checks payable to the Town of Canton/Canton FPS Program.

Thank you for your continued support!
