CABI donates to CHS drug awareness program

At a recent meeting at Canton High School, Canton Association of Business and Industry board member Sue Korycansky (left) and CABI Secretary Kristin Draper (right) awarded Principal Derek Folan a donation for the drug awareness program sponsored on March 27 at the high school. The school had invited Chris Herren, a former NBA basketball player, to speak to the students and community about his abyss of drug and alcohol addiction — a sickness that derailed his career and nearly cost him his life before he hit rock-bottom and finally accepted help in the summer of 2008.
