Hasenfuss, Rita C.

Rita C. Hasenfuss (Miller), 86, formerly of Canton, of Easton, passed away May 10 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Dorchester, she graduated from St. Margaret’s High School. She has lived in Easton since 2011 and previously lived in Canton for 53 years. Rita enjoyed spending time with her family and summering in Martha’s Vineyard.

Beloved wife of Robert P. Sr. Mother of Mary A. Walsh and her husband, Joseph, of Norton, Joanne Nolan and her husband, David, of Mansfield, Kathy A. Pernock and her husband, Christopher, of Easton, Robert P. Hasenfuss Jr. of Dorchester, and the late Diane M. Pierce. Loving grandmother of Megan, Kenny, Kate, Caitlin, Kyle, Mary Alice, and Bridget. Also survived by many other loving extended family members.

A funeral mass was held Monday, May 13, in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in her memory to Catholic Charities South, 169 Court St., Brockton, MA 02302. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
