By Canton CitizenPeter A. Truczinskas, of Canton, died Friday morning at the Tower Hill Nursing Home in Canton. He was 60.
Born in Norwood the son of the late Felix and Anne (Ronayne) Truczinskas, he had been a lifelong Canton resident, attending Saint John’s School in Canton and graduating from Canton High School.
Mr. Truczinskas had been employed for over 40 years at the former Emerson and Cuming Company in Canton. A longtime member of the Canton Town Club, he had also been a member of their golf league. In addition to his passion for golfing, he enjoyed reading.
He is survived by his three brothers, Michael, Mark and Paul Truczinskas; his nephews, David, Bradley and Ryan Truczinskas; and his grandnephew, Matthew Truczinskas.
A memorial prayer service was held Wednesday, June 12, at the Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, followed by committal services at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Canton. For additional information, please visit www.roache-pushard.com.
