Connelly, Claire T.

Claire T. Connelly (Sparks), 83, of Canton, passed away at Queen Anne Nursing Home in Hingham June 25.

Born and raised in Dorchester, she attended Jeremiah Burke High School. She worked at Shawmut Bank for 29 years in the Adjustment Department as a manager and later worked at the Bank of Canton in the Commercial Loan Department before retiring. She has lived in Canton since 1978.

Beloved wife of the late Mark T. Mother of Patrick and his wife, Karen, of Braintree, Mark Jr. and his wife, Joan, of Weymouth, Kathleen McLaughlin and her husband, Kevin, of Stoneham, Stephen and his wife, Sandra, of Stoughton, Shawn of Canton, and Paul and his wife, Lauren, of Stoughton. Sister of Evelyn O’Brien of Arlington and the late Edmund, Elaine, George, Catherine and Paul. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Friday, June 28, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton Saturday morning at 10:30. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Queen Anne Nursing Home, Patient Activity Fund, 50 Recreation Dr., Hingham, MA 02043.
