Born in Boston, he was raised in Dorchester and previously lived in Milton before moving to Canton in 1978. He was a member of the Milton Police Department for 35 years and retired in 2003. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Beloved husband of Carole (Johnson). Father of John A. of FL and Michael J. and his wife, Trish, of Canton. Grandfather of Dylan and Skylar Lank of Canton. Brother of Joan Parker of LA.
