Smith, Mary L.
By Canton CitizenMary L. Smith (Kennedy), 81, of Wrentham, formerly of West Roxbury, passed away July 16 at the Maples Rehab and Nursing Center in Wrentham surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in Boston, she attended Boston schools and formerly lived in Mansfield, Canton, Plymouth, and West Roxbury. She was a devoted housewife and mother and previously worked in the Medical Records Office at Children’s Hospital, at Drake’s Bakery in Boston, and was a cosmetics rep for Mary Kay Cosmetics.
Beloved wife of the late Frazier L. Mother of Dwayne Smith of NY, Brian Smith of Wrentham, Lynne Wallace of Norwood, Robert Smith of FL, and the late Brenda McBride. Sister of Rita Kennedy of West Roxbury, Sheila Flaherty of Easton, and Andrew “Buddy” Kennedy of Dennis. She was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. Also survived by 15 grandchildren.
A funeral mass was held Saturday morning, July 20, in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
