Cushman, Jean H.
By Canton CitizenJean H. Cushman, 79, of Canton, passed away July 26 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Rumford, Maine, she attended Canton schools and lived most of her life in Canton. She was a devoted wife and mother and worked as a home health aide for several years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her family, knitting, reading, traveling, Italian food, and all of her cats.
Beloved wife of the late John W. Sr. Mother of Donna M. and Cheryl A. Cushman, both of Norwood, and John W. Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Stoughton. Sister of Patricia McCarthy of Canton, Joseph Nardelli of Norwood, and the late Joseph Sakalaukus, Rose Bither, Eileen Babbitt, and Thomas Sakalaukus.
A funeral mass was held Wednesday morning, July 31, in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
